Accommodation
Self-contained waterfront cabin on Denny Island — a peaceful, private escape near Bella Bella on B.C.'s wild central coast.
Located at: 52° 9’18.68″N 128° 5’51.39″W
Spindrift Point Cabins offers a studio-style, self-contained waterfront cabin available for nightly and weekly rentals on Denny Island, adjacent to the Heiltsuk Nation community of Bella Bella (Waglisla). Nestled in the Great Bear Rainforest — the largest remaining tract of intact temperate rainforest in the world — the cabin sleeps up to 3 adults or 2 adults with children, and comes fully equipped with all bedding, linens, and Starlink Wi-Fi.
Just a 5-minute boat ride or 25-minute walk from Shearwater Marina, and a 10-minute boat ride from Bella Bella, Spindrift Point is ideally situated for guests looking to explore one of B.C.'s most spectacular coastal wilderness regions. Guests can enjoy private dock moorage, a barbecue, and delicious breakfasts upon request. The surrounding waters and forests are home to grizzly bears, grey wolves, humpback and orca whales, every species of wild Pacific salmon, and towering old-growth conifers.
Owner-operators Krista Roessingh and Ingmar Lee are happy to help plan wildlife-viewing or kayaking adventures. The cabin is equally well-suited as a quiet retreat for writers and those seeking privacy and tranquility.
Please note: Due to urgent conservation measures, Spindrift Point does not accommodate new guests whose primary purpose is sport fishing.
